We monitor sessions to restrict access of your account appropriately. We use the same 256-bit SSL encryption as your bank, ensured by third-party experts such as Comodo. All data is sent over the network in secure HTTP (HTTPS) sessions, and we actively encrypt personally identifiable information.
Our data centers are managed in alignment with security best practices and a variety of IT security standards, including SOC 1/SSAE 16/ISAE 3402, SOC 2, SOC 3, and PCI DSS Level 1.
Why does Sway need my bank login information?
We need your login username and passwords so that we can help you manage your accounts. We use this information to establish a secure connection with your financial institution. This enables us to programmatically analyze and send you your recent account activity.
How secure is my login information that I enter on Sway?

What if I choose not to connect my banks?
You can still use our Slack bot if you have an active Stripe account — we’ll report to you revenues we find through Stripe.
